Diet:
Increase water-soluble fiber intake: oat bran, rice bran, pectin
Switch from cows milk to soy, or other vegetable milk
Increase complex carbohydrates and decrease fats.
Avoid sugar, hydrogenated oil, trans fatty acids and oxidized fats (found in fried food).
Eat cold-water fish, legumes, garlic, onions, ginger and yogurt.
